Alvis Pan from Taiwan ("Berlin Enchanted") discovers liquorice
- Press
Presskadó was established in 1997 as the first specialized Liquorice Shop in Germany. This was discovered by some media, and they followed and reported on the store. Travel back in time with the help of our archive - radio, tv, press and web!
WebWebHazel Brugger and Thomas Spitzer’s impromptu visit to kadó was great fun. Luckily, I wasn’t at a loss for words either. Alwin from Taiwan was inspired by it. But see for yourself – here!
RadioRadioWhilst kadó was being refurbished, I listened to Radio Eins, which was also founded in 1997. When the fresh-faced and cheeky Volker Wieprecht invited me to an interview at Germany’s first specialist liquorice shop, I turned up at the studio with a few samples of liquorice. Still on air!
TelevisonTelevisonTelevision’s coming! A relaxed and easy-going visit to kadó, with Uli Zelle, MDR, SWR and RBB. The recording’s rolling – and action!

Liquorice to Canada2016-10-04I have been lucky to visit your store in Berlin a few times. My father and some friends here in Canada also really like your products, but I will not be in Berlin soon enough to offer them some gifts that I would like to give to them soon. Thank you for sending some joy to us in Canada : )To top of pageWe only use technically necessary cookies for the functionality of our online shop.
