did you know that liquorice contains glycyrrhizin? This substance is a natural component of liquorice, from which liquorice is cooked. Glycyrrhizin has long been known for its effect on blood pressure and circulation (stimulating) and on the respiratory tract (calming). Now, laboratory tests at the University of Essen-Duisburg have shown that this ingredient of liquorice was able to neutralise coronaviruses. Read more here...
